Comments

Here is how to read the charge level/glow plug status gauge: Once ignitor is attached to the engine's glow plug, look at the red and green gauge located on top of the ignitor. If the needle points to the green area, the ignitor is charged and the glow plug is good. If the needle points to the red area, either the ignitor needs to be charged or the glow plug is not good. To test the glow plug, unscrew the glow plug from the engine and attach to the ignitor in the same manner as if it were on the engine. The bottom of the glow plug will glow red. if it does not, you must replace the glow plug. If it does glow red but your meter still reads in the red zone, the ignitor needs to be recharged.
